My big sister Ellie was a nurse to us even when we were babies. She was always there for us when we were growing up. I have many happy memories of her. She was the "boss lady" on "clean house Saturdays"! She was soft spoken but she meant business! She had the prettiest sweaters that we would wear to school and put back as soon as we got home from school. She always knew when we did this. I think she could smell us!!
She loved her family so much.
Thank You Laurie, Beth, Andy and Mike for caring for her right to the very end.
Heaven's going to be a better place with her in it. I loved our Ellie and I'm going miss her. ❤️ Fran

My deepest sympathies to Ellie's children, they did a wonderful job taking care of her these last few years. Thank you and God bless you all. I will miss you Ellie, liked sitting on your porch with you reminicing about the good old days.
You are the last of my older sisters, you are up there now with Caroline and Addie and our parents.

I will always remember all of the happy times I had with my grandmother. We always had fun, no matter what we were doing. And we were always laughing about something. Ellie's laughter was contagious. She was one of my best friends while growing up. My sister and I loved our sleepovers with Grandma and Papa. I have so many memories of summers at their house, riding our bikes in circles around the driveway, spending hours at the local playgrounds and park pools, feeding the ducks, flagging down ice cream trucks, going to the fair and our Niagra Falls trips. I am so grateful to have agreed to be college roommates with her. She always did her best to the care of me, even if she ruined dinner once or twice and we had to go to IHOP for pancakes. Ellie loved her family with all her heart and we will forever cherish her memory
