Of Depew, March 26, 2023. Beloved husband of 52 years of Elizabeth (nee Begier) Ventura; Loving father of Karen Ventura; Dear brother of Tony (Amy) Ventura and Tom Ventura; Son of the late Lucy (nee Iarocci) and Carmen Ventura; Uncle of Hillary Ventura, Todd (Erica) Lewandowski, Nick (fiance Christine)Reger, Sarah (Thomas Gay) Reger and Ryan Reger; Brother-in-law of Richard (Sue) Begier, Annette (Tony) Reger.


Don was a retired Lancaster Police Officer with 32 years of dedicated service to the Citizens of Lancaster, a three sport athlete at Depew High School, a member of the Italian-American Police Association where he was awarded Man of the Year in 2019 and W.A.R.P.


Visitation in the Cichon-Borgosz Funeral Home Inc. 4929 Broadway, Depew Wednesday 3-7 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Pompeii Church 158 Laverack Avenue, Lancaster Thursday at 10AM. Please assemble at Church. Flowers gratefully declined.
