The strangest things stick in my head about my former students. One of my memories of Phil was right about this time of year, I was talking about how I was excited for peppermint mocha creamer to come out and he quickly chimed in that his mom said the same thing. I always think of him when I see it in the stores.
This kid always made me smile, even though I haven't seen him in years.
