Mrs. Huber was a wonderful teacher, and a real inspiration to me. She was my Art Teacher at Aurora Middle School and encouraged me to constantly push my expectations. I remember her annual "Scarecrow Festival" where all the students had to build scarecrows - she encouraged us to "go beyond" and invent a backstory for our creations (so cool!). Her projects were always more than the "art" they were about the story and the impact that art/creativity can make. Now THAT is a true teacher! Mrs. Huber will be greatly missed, but her impact lives on through countless students and people that she taught.
