Obituary of Jean Mary (nee Bartels) Boring

Jean Mary Boring, resident of Elma, NY for 8 years, born September 8, 1924, in Pittsfield, MA, passed peacefully Sunday, July 4, 2021, in Buffalo, NY. She was a resident of Montgomery, OH for 46 years. Jean was married to the late Robert Boring for 67 loving years. Her departed siblings were John Bartels Sr and Pat Bartels Stone, both from Pittsfield, MA. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Boring Ross, and her husband, David Ross of Elma, NY, nieces Suzanne Bartels, Gailyn Porter, Linda Laurent, nephews John Bartels Jr, David Boring, Richard Boring, and Robert Stone. Jean was an active member of the Montgomery Beautification Committee for years, numerous garden and bridge clubs. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, and cooking. A private ceremony will be held in Cincinnati at a later date.
