I have always valued the years I have known Rich. He taught me to shoot pool, throw darts, and become a better shot for hunting. I have missed hunting with the crew since I had to move out of state. All the years I have known him since he and my sister got together have meant so much to me. We may not of always seen eye to eye, but we always found a way to work things out and make the most of our friendship. He may have been my brother-in-law, but I considered him my brother and my friend. I will miss you so much. You have always looked out for me even when I couldn't see it. I love you my brother.

I have known Dawn for about 41 years, Grizz for 38 years, and we all had a basic thing in common, the CB radio. We have a large group of friends in common. Grizz has never changed through the years. His love of people and guns has never changed. He has always helped out and been a protector. He has always been that big brother that we needed. He would watch over everyone he likes and loves. My favorite memories of Grizz are of the times we just hung out, and he played his guitar. He loved the song Lyin' Eyes by the Eagles. He would play and I would sing it but, I never understood at the time, where to come in and start singing because I was so used to hearing it on a recording. He would get mad and I would just laugh til we both cracked up. Another time I had just moved into Buffalo from the suburbs. We introduced Grizz to my best friend's family who lived across the street. Dawn was there all the time and that lead to Dawn coming over and meeting him. I remember telling my mom that I thought I lost my friends but in reality, it just created a bigger family. Through the years we lost contact for a while but one day, we got it back. I had had a lot of ups and downs and he talked to me on the phone, Dawn and I were talking on the computer and once again we were all in contact. Dawn just lost Mathew and Anna had Orion, Grizz's Best Buddy. My heart breaks with the loss but, every person who has ever come in contact with Grizz has had their lives enriched with friendship joy and love.
