Paula and Cheryl,
Your Dad was always one of the first to volunteer, to roll up his sleeves and be of help. I admired that almost as much as I admired his evident love he held for you both. Please accept my sincere condolences.

So sorry to hear about Eddie. We played softball together in Cheektowaga and Tonawanda in the 80's. My brother Pete and I were the youngest guys on the team back then and those 'older guys' taught us a lot about the game and how to have a great time after the game. I can also remember him and a few guys on the team setting up a special softball game at the prison in Attica. It was quite unnerving to go into that place and play against the inmates. Quite an experience. When you say you hit one 'off the wall' there, it's true...
Eddie had a terrific sense of humor and will definitely be missed...awesome teammate, better guy! RIP Eddie, you were a blast
