Charlie was one of a kind. He was very kind person. He loved his daughter and was excited to become a grandpa! I am honored to call him my father-in-law. He loved his classic cars and hot rods, he would tell me how they should be built and I would tell him the opposite to get him going.
One funny story that will always stick in my mind is when he found out he was going to be a grandpa. We were having dinner and he made a comment Bonnie was hungry that day, she then said she was eating for 2. He looked at me and thought we were joking. It took a few days for him to finally believe it! He was proud from that moment on.
I will miss him a lot
