VanCoevering, Richard J.

Of Buffalo, passed peacefully from this world on April 8, 2019 at the Cleveland Clinic after a short, hard fought battle with interstitial lung disease.  His time with us was way too short.  He will be missed.Beloved husband of Cindy Vastola; Devoted father of Russell, Danielle (Chuck) Collin, Frank (Mollie) Lancaster, Rose and Russell III, ; Loving grandfather of four grandchildren; Cherished son of the late Vicky (nee Kaczmarek) and Russ; Dear brother of Pam, Gayle and late Russ; Also, survived by nieces and nephews.  Visitation in the Cichon-Borgosz Funeral Home, Inc., 4929 Broadway, Depew, Friday 3-7 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary of the Assumption Church 1 St. Mary Hill, Lancaster Saturday at 11 AM.  Please assemble at Church. Rick was an active member of the Republican Party, he loved politics, his friends, his work, his work colleagues, getting the newest technology and a good game of golf.  Flowers gratefully declined.
