Daughter of John F Hens and Margaret (Long) Sister to Michael (Gladys), Matthew (MaryJane), David (Karen Tolley), and Jeanne Malovich (Steve). Loving and devoted wife to Mike Formwalt, super mom to Genessa Formwalt, Sonja Bienias (Dan) and Melody Nardone. Bestest Grammy to Anya, Cederic, Elise, and Amber. Rebecca’s Nieces and Nephews include Samantha, Sean, Elise (Blake) Liah, Lauren, Matthew, Alana (Mike), Maria (Curtis) Nicholas (Lisa), and Sarah (Chris).Rebecca also has seven grand nieces and nephews.

Rebecca was an active member of the American Culinary Federation for 38 years, and is a standing fellow of the American Academy of Chefs former member of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, Chef Level.

She was a seasoned Culinary Educator at Emerson School of Hospitality, and guided the Junior Culinary Team to Two Bronze Medals in WNY Restaurant Association ProStart competition. Rebecca is a previous winner of the Silver Medal Award, the ACF Chef of the Year, NYS ProStart Teacher of the Year, and WGRZ Teacher of the Week.

Rebecca suffered with brain cancer and succumbed to that dreadful disease.
