TASA - Carolyn E., Ph.D. (nee Piontkowski) Of Lancaster, December 4, 2014, beloved wife of the late James; dear sister of Dorothy (late Anthony) Miniri, Irene (late Eugene) Andrzejewski, Rose (Donald) Ross, Ellen Piontkowski, late Anne (Ettore) Damiani, late Theresa (late Michael) Musik and late Leonard (Karen) Piontkowski; godmother of Michael (Sherri) Andrzejewski; sister-in-law of late Dominic (Heidi) and late Joseph; also survived by many nieces and nephews. No prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 158 Laverack Avenue, Lancaster, Wednesday at 9:30 AM, followed by a brunch at the Fireside Inn, 205 Central Avenue, Lancaster. According to Carolyn's wishes, a party in celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, December 10 at the Hotel Lafayette, 391 Washington Street beginning at 6 PM. Music, food and drinks will be provided. All family, friends, students and associates of Dr. Carolyn and James Tasa are encouraged to attend. Dr. Tasa was a Professor of Anthropology and Psychology at Erie Community College for 25 years. Flowers gratefully declined.
