Of Lancaster, January 9, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Frances (nee Forichette); devoted father of Janelle Scere, Gena (Stanley Banas), Rae-Ann (late David) Sutter, Richard (Colleen), Carol (Terrence) Fisher and Laura (Joseph) Palka; loving grandfather of 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren; dear brother of Phyllis Hoth of Cherry Creek, NY and late Alice (Norris) Meacham; also survived by nieces and nephews. Visitation in the CICHON-BORGOSZ FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4929 Broadway, Depew, Saturday 3-6PM. Private Services will be held at a later date. Ray was a proud WWII veteran and he served as a corporal in the 42nd Rainbow Infantry Division. He was a longtime member of the American Legion in South Dayton, NY and the Twin Village VFW Post 463 in Depew of which he was past commander. In 2013, he participated in Honor Flight to view the WWII memorial in Washington, DC, and a Westinghouse retiree. Flowers gratefully declined. Those wishing
