Of Depew; November 28, 2024; Beloved husband of 64 years of Mary Ann (nee Stroka) Trainer;  Devoted father of Kathleen Hagner, James (Sandra) Trainer, Jeffrey Trainer and Susan Trainer ; Loving grandfather of Nicole McNaughton-Mescall, Sean McNaughton, Christine Hatley, Richard Hagner, Iosefa Trainer, Jessica Trainer, Kea Trainer, Emma Trainer, Alex Trainer, Clara Trainer, Grace Meyers, John Meyers and 13 great grandchildren;  Dear brother of late Alexander Trainer, Celia Dyll, Verna Dyll, Adam Trainer and Rose Ziegler; Brother-in-law of Daniel (Ruth) Stroka, Frances (Edward) Surowiec, late Edward (Dianna) Sroka, late Robert (Joan) Stroka,  Alexander (Joanne) Stroka;  Also survived by nieces and nephews.  Visitation in the Cichon- Borgosz Funeral Home Inc. 4929 Broadway, Depew  Friday 3-7 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Pompeii Church 158 Laverack Avenue, Lancaster Saturday at 10 AM.  Mr. Trainer was Retired New York State Army National Guard with 33 years of Service, is a member of the Red Castle Club, Iris Hill Hunting Club and Bath Rod and Gun Club.  Flowers gratefully declined.
