Passed away at home at age 72. She was the beloved wife of 29 years to the late Henry C. “Hank” Ross III; cherished daughter of the late John Kolb and Marie (nee Neuner); loving mother to Christopher (Amy), Tiffany, and John (Megan); dedicated sister to Lynne (Ed) Snell; adoring grandmother to Kyra, Amelia, Eric, and Brandon; and treasured great-grandmother to River. She is also survived by many cousins.

Karen was a nurse at ECMC for 40 years, impacting the lives of countless patients and coworkers with her compassion, care, and sense of humor. She loved cooking, birdwatching, the Buffalo Bills, and supporting local animal shelters and food pantries. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her, but we take comfort in knowing she’s reunited with her husband—her best friend.

Visitation in the Cichon-Borgosz Funeral Home Inc. 4929 Broadway, Depew on Saturday from 11 a.m - 2 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined. Those wishing may make memorials in Karen's name to the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter or Hamburg Mutts for Freedom.
