Skalski, Frank A. age 88 of Depew, NY, peacefully went home to the Lord, on August 13, 2024. Born August 16, 1935, in Buffalo, NY to the late Charles and late Catherine (Weselak) Skalski. Beloved husband of 66 years to the late Evelyn (nee Manning). Father of Ann Marie, Sharon (Craig) Thompson, John (Janna), Tom (Karen), Mary (Darrell) Hess, Pamela Skalski, Linda (Bernard) Shaughnessy and the late Tim Skalski. Proud grandfather of Jennifer (Brent Snell), Shawn (Briana), Jason, Tyler, Marisa (Ryan), Bridget, Megan (Brendan), John, Dane, Cannon and Ryan. Loving great-grandfather to Harlow and Calvin. Brother to Rita (Henry) Cwiklinski, Stanley (Eleanore), Henry, Joseph (Stella), Stephen (Cornelia) and Charles (Stephanie) Skalski, all of whom have predeceased him. Survived also by many nieces and nephews. In his early years, Frank proudly served his country as a veteran in the U.S. Air Force. He was a lifelong Teamster member, working for many years for S.M. Flickinger Co. Inc., and enjoyed over 25 years of retirement. Frank was a devout Catholic, enjoyed playing golf, and reading. He was always by his late wife Evelyn’s side, supporting her in all her church and school activities. Frank will be deeply missed by all who loved him, but we take comfort in knowing he has been reunited with his beloved wife “Evie”. Visitation at Cichon-Borgosz Funeral Home, Inc., 4929 Broadway, Depew, NY on Sunday, August 18 from 11-3PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Blessed Mother Teresa Calcutta Parish at St. James Church, 496 Terrace Blvd. Depew, NY on Monday, August 19 at 10:00AM. Interment to follow at St. Augustine Cemetery, 25 Cemetery Rd. Lancaster, NY. Flowers gratefully declined.
