John was a Past Department Commander of the Disabled American Veterans of NY, a member of DAV Greater Buffalo #1, AMVETS Hank Nowak Post #45, a Master Mason in Tyrian Lodge #925 F&AM, Ismailia Shriners and a long time member and Past Commander of the Ismailia Legion of Honor.
