Flora Lucci of Williamsville, beloved wife of the late Victor Lucci, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family — the people who meant everything to her. Born on September 7, 1938, in Liverpool, England, Flora was the daughter of the late Margaret May (nee Thornhill) and John Francis Maloney.

In 1961 Flora came to the United States via the RMS Sylvania passenger ship to visit her sister, Mary. Soon after arriving, her sister’s husband encouraged her to meet a young man named Victor. Flora and Victor were married in Buffalo in April of 1963.

Flora was the proud and loving mother of Victor (Maria) Lucci, Mike (Michelle) Lucci, Larry (Lynn) Lucci, and Kevin Lucci. She adored her grandchildren Tyler Lucci, Tori (Andrew) Paradise, Amanda Lucci and her fiancé Pat, Allie Lucci, Anna Lucci, LeighAnn (Adam) Dobrinich, Kristin Lucci, Mike Lucci, and Joey Lucci; and  great-grandchildren Aidan, Benny and Ellie.

Flora was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary and Pat and brothers Charlie, Terry, John, Jimmy and Albert. She is survived by many nieces and nephews including special nieces Bernadette and Sandy and nephews Terry and David.

To her family, Flora was truly the heart of the home — a devoted mother and granny whose love, warmth, and caring nature touched generations. She treasured time spent with her family and created countless memories through her kindness, laughter, and unwavering support. Whether listening to Irish music that reminded her of home or enjoying her favorite country songs, Flora found joy in life’s simple pleasures and in the people she loved most. Those who knew Flora will remember her gentle spirit, her strength, her caring heart, and the unconditional love she gave so freely to everyone around her. She leaves behind a family who will miss her deeply and carry her love with them always.

Family and friends may visit Wednesday, May 27, 2026, from 11 AM–1 PM at the Cichon Borgosz Funeral Home Inc. where a prayer service will immediately follow visitation. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
