Maria Angela (nee Terio) D'Andrea Obituary

Maria Angela (Terio) D’Andrea, 92, passed away peacefully into God’s arms on April 15, 2026 in Arizona where she retired.  She was born in a small town outside of Rome called San Pio, Italy on February 13, 1934.  She traveled to America in 1957 and spent most of her life in Elma NY, where she raised her family before going into business with her late brother, Santino Terio, with whom she owned and operated Santino’s Pizza Shack for 12 years. She later continued her passion for cooking and family by helping her daughters at Mama’s Pizzeria for another 10 years.

She was the cherished daughter of the late Giovanni and Luigina Terio, and the beloved sister of the late Mario Terio and Santino Terio.

Maria was a devoted mother to Dennis D’Andrea, Sandra (Joe) Lazarus, and Lorraine (Greg) Norberg.

She was a proud and loving grandmother to Christina (Matt) Feeney, Andrew D’Andrea, Shawn (Tena) Lazarus, Anthony Lazarus, Amanda (Jasen) Tamol, Jesse (Becca) Norberg, Kornia Rainkee, and Sneha D’Andrea.

She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Olivia Feeney, Gianna Feeney, Kayden Lazarus, Rhyan Lazarus, Alexis Lazarus, who brought her immense joy. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and many loving cousins and friends who will miss her dearly.

She loved playing and of course yelling BINGO and going to Las Vegas.  Her most recent pastime was working at word search puzzles.

Maria will be remembered for her love of family, her strength, and the warmth she shared with everyone around her.

She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Private family funeral services will be held in Lancaster NY where she will be laid to rest.
