Randall G. "Randy" Clark Obituary

Randall G. Clark, affectionately known as “Randy,” passed away on March 31, 2026. Born on November 11, 1954, in Buffalo, New York, he was the beloved son of the late Ruth (nee Hagg) and Gerald Clark.

Randy married his best friend and the love of his life, Irene A. Cassidy, on April 8, 2004, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Their marriage was built on laughter, companionship, and a deep, steady love that carried through the years.

Randy was a diesel mechanic by trade, a man who could fix just about anything and took pride in a hard day’s work. He dedicated many years to his career before retiring from the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority as a mechanic. But retirement didn’t suit Randy for long—he wasn’t one to sit still. He soon found his way back to work as a bus driver for the Depew School District, where he found a new kind of joy. Randy truly loved the kids, and they loved him right back. He would often say he was “just going to drive one more year,” a promise he made over and over, simply because he couldn’t bring himself to give up something that made him so happy.

Randy had a big personality and an even bigger heart. He was a lifelong, die-hard Buffalo Bills fan who never missed a chance to cheer on his team, no matter the season. He loved NASCAR, admired Caterpillar equipment, and was a true Ford man through and through—especially when it came to his Mustang, which he took great pride in. These weren’t just hobbies to Randy—they were part of who he was.

More than anything, Randy lived for his family. He was the beloved husband of Irene (nee Cassidy) Clark; a devoted and proud father to Allicia Clark, Vanessa (Rick) LaPata, William (Danielle) Cassidy, Kristina (Donald) Cook, and Gregory (Hunter) White; and a loving grandfather to thirteen grandchildren who were the light of his life. He cherished every moment with them, whether it was sharing stories, laughter, or simply being together.

He was the dear brother of Mark (Sandy) Clark, Lyn Clark, and Rich (Judy) Clark, and will also be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends who knew him as a man you could always count on.

Randy will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his sense of humor, his loyalty, and the way he made people feel—welcome, valued, and loved. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will be carried on by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation celebrating Randy’s life on Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 12–3 PM. at the Cichon-Borgosz Funeral Home Inc.., 4929 Broadway, Depew, NY 14043
