Paul A. Tatarski Obituary

Paul A. Tatarski passed away suddenly on Friday, February 27, 2026, leaving behind a family

who loved him deeply and friends who will miss him beyond words. Born on October 21, 1979

in Buffalo, New York to Joanne (nee Wojcik) and the late Gregory Tatarski, Paul grew up

surrounded by friends and family.  He remained devoted to them throughout his life.

A 1997 graduate of Clarence High School, Paul went on to earn his Bachelor of Psychology

degree from the University at Buffalo. He later worked in asphalt maintenance for various

companies. Paul believed in hard work and took pride in doing his job well. He was the kind of

person who never complained, showed up when he was needed, and quietly gave his best every

day.

Paul was known for his generous heart. He would give you the shirt off his back without

hesitation. If someone needed help, Paul was there, no questions asked. His kindness was

natural and unforced, and it’s no surprise that everyone who met him loved him. He had a way of

making people feel comfortable, valued, and welcome.

He especially loved spending time outdoors, fishing and hunting whenever he could. Those

peaceful moments in nature brought him joy and gave him time to reflect. Whether out on the

water or in the woods, he was happiest enjoying life’s simple blessings.

He was the beloved son of Joanne and the late Gregory Tatarski; a loving and supportive brother to Brenda (Eric) Faulkner and Jason Tatarski; and an uncle to Dylan, Elizabeth, and Patricia, who loved their “Uncle Paul”. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who were blessed to know his generous spirit. Though his passing was sudden and far too soon, Paul’s kindness, loyalty, and the love he gave so freely will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His memory will forever be a reminder of how much one good, generous heart can mean to so many.
