Obituary of Matthew "Lumpy" Tulowiecki

Matthew Tulowiecki, affectionately known to all as “Lumpy,” of Lancaster, NY passed away unexpectedly on January 26, 2026. He was born on September 3, 1968, in Buffalo, NY, to Lucille (nee Doyle) and the late William Tulowiecki.

Lumpy had a larger-than-life personality and a gift for bringing people together. He never missed a chance to enjoy a good party, share a laugh, or make others feel welcome. His easygoing spirit, sense of humor, and loyalty to family and friends will be deeply missed.

Lumpy was the beloved son of Lucille (Donald) Huber and the late William Tulowiecki. He was a dear brother to Brian Tulowiecki, Lisa (Robert) Nye, and Thomas (Amy) Tulowiecki, and a cherished uncle who took great pride in Timothy (Darcy) Nye, Andrew Nye, Shawn (Jenna) Nye, William Tulowiecki, Leah Tulowiecki, Isabella Nye, Mason Nye, Kenna Nye, and Chase Nye.
