Obituary of Stanley A. Kowalski Jr.

Born in 1937 to the late Stanley Sr. and Marion (nee Skotarski) Kowalski. He lived in the heart of the "Polonia" neighborhood of St. Adalbert Basilica for the first 50 years of his life. Following in the footsteps of his family he was very active in the various organizations within the parish, including membership and leadership of Boy Scout troop and Explorer Post 95. After graduating from St. Adalbert parochial school he attended St. Francis High School, in Athol Springs, NY, graduating in in the upper third of his class in 1954. He then attended the University of Buffalo, for two years, where he became a member of Kappa Sigma Kappa fraternity. 

He was predeceased by his sister Frances and his wife Patricia (nee Wisniewski). Stanley is survived by his two sons, Michael (Susan), of Cheektowaga, NY and David of Kenmore, NY, five grandchildren, Tyler, Mitchell, Kristen, Adam and Mathew, and his fiancé Marie Maciejewski.

Visitation in the Cichon-Borgosz Funeral Home Inc. 4929 Broadway, Depew Sunday 12-4 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Adalbert Basilica 212 Stanislaus Street, Buffalo, NY 14212 Monday at 10 AM.  Please assemble at the Basilica.
