Beloved husband of Mary (nee Ellison) Pecora; Devoted father of Anthony (Andria) Pecora, Michelle Pecora, Jeffrey Root, and Robert (Brooke) Root;  Loving grandfather of Tyler, Julianna, Anthony Jr., Aidan, Dominic, Selena, Baylee and Sadie;  Cherished son of Josephine and the late Juliano Pecora; Dear brother of Susan Burns; Uncle of Christopher Burns;    Visitation with family in the Cichon-Borgosz Funeral Home Inc., 4929 Broadway, Depew, Saturday, 2-6 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited.

Juliano S. Pecora, of Depew, was a retired NY State Corrections Officer with 25 years of service, a Village of Depew Planning Board member from 2004-2006, and a former Trustee and Deputy Mayor of Depew, NY from 2011-2015. A graduate of Southside High School, he attended Bryant & Stratton College majoring in business law. Mr. Pecora began his long public service career in the Civil Air Patrol (U.S. Air Force Auxiliary), later worked as part-time Dispatcher for the Depew Police Department from 1998 to 2004, and volunteered with the Buffalo Special Police from 2003-2010 with the rank of Lieutenant.
At age 20, Mr. Pecora opened his own business, a video game arcade, later obtaining his insurance license becoming an agent for Prudential Insurance and eventually a Representative for the Police and Fireman's Insurance Association.
As a business owner Mr. Pecora supported several local youth sports clubs and charities including the Depew Saints Hockey Club and volunteered as Head of Security for the Buffalo Jill's Junior Jill's Youth Workshops from 1996-2000.
Mr. Pecora was a member of many organizations including the Italian-American Police Association of Western New York, the Western New York Association of Retired Law Enforcement Personnel, the Buffalo Special Police Benevolent Association, the American Correctional Association, and also served as a Board of Directors Trustee for Circolo Sportivo Italia, Inc. from 2008-2012.
