Obituary of Kathleen M. (nee Smith) Patrzyk

Of Depew, entered into rest suddenly on December 1, 2025. Born February 2, 1969, in Buffalo, NY, she was the beloved daughter of the late Barbara Ann (née Staszczyk) and Ronald G. Smith.

Kathy was the devoted and loving wife of Scott A. Patrzyk and a proud, caring mother to Andrew Goldyn, Scott (Jessica) Patrzyk II, Nathan Patrzyk, and Ryan Patrzyk. She was a cherished grandmother to her precious granddaughter, Lilly, who brought her endless joy.

She is survived by her dear sisters, Maureen (Bill) Ernest, Karen (late John) Dolly, and Sandra (Marty) Smith, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

Kathy was a dedicated member of the Lancaster Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, where she gave her time and support with generosity and pride. She had a love for shopping and truly cherished time spent camping—especially at Three Valley Campground in Holland, NY, which she fondly called her “Happy Place.” There, surrounded by family and nature, Kathy found peace, laughter, and joy.

Family and friends may call on Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 12:00–3:00 PM at the Cichon-Borgosz Funeral Home, Inc., 4929 Broadway, Depew. Flowers are gratefully declined.

Kathy will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her love of family, her warm heart, and the happiness she found in life’s simple pleasures.
