Obituary of Mary R. (nee Czapla) Palumbo

Mary Palumbo, age 101, of Lancaster, NY, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025,
surrounded by the love of her family.

Mary lived a long and beautiful life defined by loyalty, love, and hard work. She shared many
cherished years with her late husband, Michael A. Palumbo, building a family rooted in
kindness, resilience, and loyalty.

Mary is survived by her three devoted children and their spouses: Patricia Mohn (Lee),
Thomas Palumbo (Debbie) and Cindy Hoeft (Brian). She was a proud grandmother to eight
grandchildren and a beloved great-grandmother to seven great-grandchildren, each of whom
brought her immense joy and pride.

Mary touched every life she encountered. Her warm presence, strong values, and loving spirit
will be remembered always by those fortunate enough to have known her.

There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at
Resurrection Roman Catholic Church 130 Como Park Blvd., (at Union Road) Cheektowaga, NY 14227 on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 12 noon to honor and celebrate Mary’s life.
Flowers are graciously declined.

Her family will continue to carry her legacy in their hearts and through the many stories,
traditions, and lessons she leaves behind.
