Obituary of Nancy A. (nee Hacker) Hall

Nancy Ann Hall, a lifelong and beloved resident of Depew, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025. She was born on February 12, 1953, in Buffalo, NY, to the late Ruth (née Merz) and Frank Hacker.

Beloved wife of William C. Hall. Devoted mother to David (Laura) Hall, and proud grandmother to Everson Hall.  Nancy was also a dear sister to Tom (Joyce) Hacker, Deborah (Dave) Langa, Cynthia (Robert) Nurmi, and Michael Hacker; and to the late James Hacker and Sharon Saia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Nancy's favorite time of year was Christmas, when she cherished being surrounded by family. She also loved opportunities to visit with loved ones at family gatherings and treasured her trips to Disney World. She loved seeing her son, nieces and nephews creating their own memories with their families there. As a true Buffalo native, Nancy was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills.

Nancy will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and engaging conversations with others and most importantly, for her tenacity, grit, and perseverance. 

May the fight she endured forever inspire others to NEVER GIVE UP. May her love and memory remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life during visitation on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 3–6 PM at Cichon-Borgosz Funeral Home, Inc., 4929 Broadway, Depew, NY. The afternoon will conclude with a Prayer Service at 5:30 PM.
