Obituary of Frances M. (nee Farrar) Angermeier
Frances Mary Angermeier, known affectionately as “Fran,” passed away peacefully on September 19, 2025, in Attica, NY. She was born on November 26, 1959, in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, to the late Edith and George Farrar.
Fran moved to Western New York to follow her heart and married the love of her life, Lawrence “Larry” Angermeier. She was the proud mother of Brandie Hadden of Attica, NY, and Steven Hadden of Corfu, NY, and the cherished grandmother of Graham, Amelia, Annabelle, Sophia, Liam, and Anthony. Daughter-in-law of Lawrence & Irmgard Angermeier, Williamsville, NY
She is survived by her siblings Patricia Raymond, G. Mike Farrar, Thomas Farrar, and Wilson Farrar, all of Rhode Island; Margaret (Rob) Paquette of Florida; Victor(Elsie)Muron of North Carolina; Lisa (Dave) Ricketts and Christine McCutchen of New York; and Terry (Tom) Allen of Ohio. She was predeceased by her siblings Maureen Muron and Edward Farrar. Fran is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.
Fran worked for a number of years at American Sales in Lancaster, NY. She enjoyed spending summer days at the pool or beach, sharing time with family and friends, cheering on the Patriots, and playing the occasional game of Bingo. Above all, Fran treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren, who brought her endless joy.
A Celebration of Life of Fran’s Life will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 2:00–6:00 PM at GD Party Barn, 272 Erie Street, Lancaster, NY.
