Obituary of Joseph C. Hens

HENS, Joseph Charles of Depew, NY, May 18, 2025, age 87. Preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine (nee Radwan), his long-time partner Bonnie Beccue and his daughter Anne B. Hens. Also preceded in death by his parents Bernard and Mary (Coughlin) Hens, his four brothers and his six sisters. Loving father of Joseph C. (Jr.), Lisa A., Peter T. and Julie R. Loving grandfather to Joseph, Nicholas, Daniel, Liam, Seneca, Ruby and Quinn. Joseph worked at the V.A. Medical Center in Buffalo, NY. He worked as a part-time bus driver/trainer for many years. He also volunteered as a Depew firefighter. He served in the US Air Force and was discharged honorably. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on May 27, 2025 at 10 a.m. at St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta Parish at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 496 Terrace Boulevard, Depew, NY. Interment to follow Mass at St. Adalbert Cemetery, 6200 Broadway, Lancaster.
