Thomas, aka: Tom, Dad and Papa died peacefully  February 22, 2025, at Brothers of Mercy Campus surrounded by his family.  Thomas spent his later years living in the Village of Akron, NY.

Tom was born in Buffalo, NY to Thomas and Frances Mazzone. Thomas ‘s parents were deaf which made him very proficient in sign language. He was of immense help to his parents growing up and was the oldest of three children. He loved his parents dearly and would do anything for them. One cherished memory that he made for them was purchasing a cabin in the southern tier where his dad could spend his later years. His children have fond memories of their time there. Tom played football at North Tonawanda High School and ran track. He met his wife Theresa Czajkowski at the North Tonawanda public swimming pool, and they were married five years later and have been married for 68 years. He enlisted in the Army in 1955 and was stationed both in the United States and Germany.

Tom made a career at General Motors working in the Personnel Department which is now known as Human Resources. Tom earned his bachelor's degree later in life from Canisus College while working full time. Tom had a clever work ethic, and he installed this into his children and grandchildren. Everyone loved his smile and sense of humor. He enjoyed keeping in shape and was an exceptionally good bowler.  He took his family on summer trips to the Adirondack Mountains, Florida and of course the cabin. He will be remembered by everyone who knew him.

Rest in Peace, Tom, Dad, Papa You will be forever in our hearts!!!
