Mike,
Thank you for your service to your family, shipmates and Country. You were always someone who we could count on to get the task done and correctly. Every Unit that you served in became better because of you. You were well respected by every Enlisted and Officer that you worked with and most importantly a friend to all. Your hard work and dedication was rewarded with your promotion to Chief Petty Officer, a position that was well deserved.
I fondly remember the times you stopped to chat as you were riding your bike past my house,
A "Ride-By" as you referred to it.
It was a pleasure to serve with you and you will be missed. You were truly a "brother " to us all.
