Daniel Richard Foley was beloved by everyone who met him, leaving a mark on the hearts of many. His journey through life was a reflection of his dedication, infectious humor, and compassion. Dan’s lifelong dream was to serve others as a firefighter. At just 14, he began his path of service by becoming a volunteer with Twin District in Lancaster. His commitment to helping others only grew stronger over the years, leading him to becoming an EMT for AMR in Buffalo. His journey continued as he became a firefighter in Fauquier County, VA. His path always led him back home to Buffalo. It was here that he met his soulmate, Ayla Magliarditi, and together they began a beautiful chapter of their lives. Dan’s dedication to helping his community never faltered, he found immense fulfillment working at the Buffalo VA Hospital, where he cared for those who had sacrificed so much. Driven by his desire to chase his dream, Dan made the decision to leave his position at the VA Hospital, which he loved.
