Obituary of Hugh Chavis

CHAVIS - Hugh W., Sr. Of Lancaster, September 9, 2014, beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Beal); devoted father of Barbara (Michael) Pelletterie, Hugh W. Jr., Tonnie (Tom) Paradowski, Raymond (Susan) and the late James; loving grandfather of 14 grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren; dear brother of Betty, Bryant and Mary Alice; also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation in the CiCHOn-BORgOSz FuneRAL HOMe inC., 4929 Broadway, Depew, Thursday 3-7 PM, where a Funeral Service will be held at 7 PM immediately following visitation. Relatives and friends are invited. Mr. Chavis was a retiree of Lancaster Steel after 37 years and a former member of the Fraternal Order of the Orioles. Flowers gratefully declined.
